Grand hotel

New owners, Lisa and Tom, with their extensive experience in renovating many of Healesville’s Historical Period Homes and Guesthouses, have now transformed the Grand Hotel back to what the locals once knew as “the Grand Old Lady”, but with a modern twist.  As locals themselves, Lisa and Tom focus on showcasing local produce and wines, offering a fantastic summer menu at reasonable prices.

“Outstanding pub food. My chicken schnitzel was hot and plump with a perfectly seasoned crust. It came loaded with veges. There was a dark lager on tap that tasted like molasses, delicious. They have an extensive desserts menu too for a pub, which my friends enjoyed thoroughly. The dining room has an old world appeal with high ceilings. Cool place, good menu, great food.”

“There were 40 of us in Healesville recently for a charity bike ride and we reached out to The Grand to see if they could accommodate us all for dinner. Adelle and the team at the Grand were fantastic! Not only was the communication in the lead up to our dinner great, but the food and service on the night was spot on. It’s pretty unusual for everything to run smoothly when you’re serving this many meals at a time, but all meals were hot, portions were very generous and everyone got exactly what they ordered!! Amazing! We definitely have no hesitations in recommending The Grand to anyone that asked. You won’t be disappointed.”
